Tea Timer 1.7.1-RC1
Monday, July 12, 2010
Sorry for that buggy 1.7 release. Thanks to you, who helped me fixing them by giving good error descriptions. Also thanks you, who trolled and thus showed me how much you need this little widget. ;-)
To be sure, I really fixed everything, I’ve decided let you test the new release, before I make it final. Please download the curren tip from the repository at bitbucket.org. If you find anything, please create an issue or just write a comment here. Thanks!
PS: I’ve decided to leave the update message the way it is. Normally, you only have to see it once or twice a year and it takes just one click to get rid of it. :)

I absolutely love this little widget. The kitchen is about a mile and a half from my office and I never know when my tea or lunch for that matter is ready. I use it all the time to time other things like reminding myself to go to meetings.

Thank you for this useful widget! The settings are simple to use and the widget has lots of features. I was able to create an alarm intrusive enough to get me to pause a video and do whatever I'd set the timer for, which is no easy job!
Very nice work. Thank you -

I think the timer is great and have been using it for quite some time, but alas, the fact that it opens to your web-site everytime I open the timer is just too annoying and have decided to look for another timer.
Thanks for the use of it over the years.

@LS: As you can see in the complete changelog for 1.7.1, I eventually changed the the behaviour of the update message. You’ll see it only once per new version now.

I love this widget--I think it's the only one on my Dashboard that I use on a regular basis. And I actually use it for tea! I can't tell you how many times I've made tea and forgotten about it because I didn't want to wake the neighbors with the kitchen timer. That's no longer a problem because of this. Thank you!
